MASJID E BILAL
This mosque project, nestled within the rugged context of a coal mining site, is a powerful fusion of spiritual serenity and industrial resilience. The design embraces a bold, dark-toned material palette reflective of its setting, incorporating basalt stone and perforated concrete blocks that not only enhance ventilation but also symbolically echo the texture of mined earth. Elevated on a raised plinth with symmetrical stairways, the structure asserts its presence while ensuring accessibility and flood protection. The dome, a traditional Islamic architectural element, crowns the building with dignity, contrasting harmoniously against the sharp, contemporary lines of the parapet and glass railings. With its thoughtful integration of ornamentation, natural lighting, and ventilation, this mosque stands as a place of reflection and unity, offering a tranquil spiritual anchor within a landscape of labor and transformation.
